And yet, God has continued to send himself. <br /><br />Where we get in the most trouble - short of open rebellion - is when we forget that God is the one who has already come near, we don't have to impress him, convince him or manipulate him. We receive him and are received by him. <br /><br />And so Paul finishes that previous sentence with "and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Jesus Christ." <br /><br />thank you for your comment and encouragement Wendy.
